(>")> Assignment #1 <("<)
During this assignment we used the Adobe Illustrator tool to create icons for a list of topics. I was trying to create nice, clean images of ice cream, a salon, a book, and camping. We used the shape and line tools for the first time, I think I did rather well creating these.
(>")> Assignment #2 <("<)
During this assignment we were told to find 9 textures on the internet, the top 3 just basic designs, the middle 3 were to utilize negative space, the bottom 3 were used to show value. We used the pen tool to trace the designs as best as we could. We each gradually started improving the more of these we made, as you can see, I started of with just lines then slowly, added more depth to my design.
(>")> Assignment # 6 <("<)
During this assignment, we were to follow Stephen Kroninger's art style and try to mimic it into making a design like his. The edges were supposed to be very sharp and have a sort of cut-and-paste look to it. In my design, I utilized proportion a ton, the design was supposed to have a sort-of goofy look to it, so making the penguins flying, and bigger than they should be, added that effect.
(>")> Assigment # 7 <("<)
During this assignment, we found pictures of famous people or just people we thought looked cool or funny looking. Then we photoshopped our faces into the photos, as you cam see mine turned out pretty goofy.
(>")> Assignment # 13 <("<)
During this assignment we worked in groups, each member creating a part of the body without knowing what the other people would do. I made the top legs part (from the hips to knees), I feel like I did a decent job of this and our groups even lined up somewhat well.
